I Just Lost A Co-Worker
I just lost a co-worker.
The police came and took him away last week.
Looks like he's not coming back.
Anybody else ever have this happen to them?
In High School, I sat next to the same guy in homeroom for three years. He was eventually arrested for breaking into a house and stabbing a woman to death. Seems he meant only to rob the house to get money to pay for his girlfriend's abortion. He thought the place was empty, but then the owner came downstairs from the bath she had been taking. He was later picked up raking leaves in his family's front yard.
He seemed like an OK guy in HR...

What was he busted for?
Other than some friends getting busted for DUI and possession of marijuana there was a guy I worked with who got busted for credit card fraud/theft. It was really weird because he was such the quiet unassuming type.
I don't have all the details, whim, but I'll just say that he was a "Fugitive From Justice" and is awaiting extradition back to his home state.
I suspect it's not murder-related, as was the case of my HS classmate.
I had that happen on a job I was at. They caught two guys skimming thouands of dollars and they were hauled out in hand cuffs.
Man, I don't have any stories that exciting. I wish my coworkers would get hauled off to jail.
Let me amend that: I like my current coworkers. I have some FORMER coworkers I would like hauled off to jail.
Gosh. My co-workers have been pretty law-abiding.
Here's the story of a former employee of our business who should have been arrested but never was...
I worked with a girl who went into rehab for crack addiction..when she got out..they hauled her away for sleeping with her boyfriends 13 year old son!! Who'd a thunk it...
hey.. like your blog btw :)
Thanks for stopping by, sandi!
Ah, co-workers!
I had an office manager once who embezzled from the practice to keep herself supplied with cocaine. The practice owners agreed to cut a deal with her promising not to press charges if she would pay us all back. Then they secretly had her just pay only them back. My husband and I lost thousands of dollars on that one. Later, one of the two practice owners was arrested for an affair with a patient, and lost his license. Instant Karma got him.
