The Best Present Ever!
My sister, Kim, sent me a potato peeler for my birthday.I was over-joyed.
I felt like little Ralphie Parker did on that special Christmas morning when he got the Red Ryder carbine action BB rifle.
Why?
Because you could put an eye out with this thing!Thanks, Kim, for the best present, ever!

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!
Turns out the potato peeler was neither a birthday present nor a gift from my sister!
Yes, my sister's handwriting was on the box.
Yes, it did arrive on my birthday.
BUT...
the truth of the matter is, my Dad bought a four pack of these peelers for each of his kids and had Kim address the boxes and mail them out.
While I appreciate my Dad's concern for ALL his childrens' potato peeler needs, this makes my rethink our whole custom of exchanging birthday presents.
It... it all seems so hollow nd joyless, now...
