Ya, I guess I wouldn't shed a tear if you were to dump "Cartoon Dump" from your blog. To be honest, the introductions just aren't that funny or engaging. Actually, they're quite irritating to watch and listen to. I'd like to see the old, third-rate cartoons ... but I can never last that long -the introduction seems to last FOREVER (like a scratch on a chalkboard!) Dump the dump.
I had such high hopes for Cartoon Dump! People whose work I have long admired (Jerry Beck, Frank Coniff) are involved and I have an abiding love for "bad" cartoons from my youth.
This episode's opening bit was a tad labored. I did like the previous one with Buff Badger (whose name has the same cadence of a real-life rageaholic animation historian - no, not THAT one!)
Maybe, I'll (sob) deep-six it. It will be my own (private) guilty pleasure, my own (private) shame...
