Friends and Such...

When I think back to growing up in the 60s and 70s, I can remember big and small gatherings of friends and relatives getting together on a regular basis. Could be as simple as an Aunt and Uncle coming over to play cards, could be League Bowling Night or it could be a weekend-end cook-out. The bottom line is, folks met up, relaxed and did something together!

Now-a-days, seems like these things just don't happen at Casa del Davison. We're always glad to have our parents, brothers and sisters come to visit. This involves a one or two day drive or airline tickets, though.

The days of just picking up the phone and throwing together a social event, however, are over.
